MY GREATEST BLESSINGS

Even when the rain falls, even when the sun stops shining, even when the storm comes, we are washed by the water...

Recently Greg and I decided that it was time for new family pictures. Little did I know the impact it would have on our view of happiness. Wow, we are fearfully and wonderfully made by God. We are here for his divine will and for each other.

This one, what can I say, she made me a mommy and words cannot express the bond.

So, no matter what tomorrow holds, I know we will face it together and we will face it from the palm of God's hand. We are blessed beyond measure!

What we've been up to...

We have been running around alot lately. And, I have been bad about not carrying a camera so you'll have to settle for pics off my phone once again. What I've been loving lately... This girl has some hair and I love that she loves for it to look pretty! Beautiful nights outside! What Em'ry has been loving lately... Ice cream with Uncle Matt!

Let's just say Summer is calling!

Breathe in...Breathe out...

Late nights, Em'ry in our bed, sleeping in, donut runs, lounging in our jammies while I sip coffee and Em'ry watches Dora, day trips, and not a care in the world...

until this little fella shows up...

so we go all out to set up his new home...

and then worry night and day whether he will make it...

whispering about him as Greg and I check on him several times each night only to have Em'ry sit up in bed and ask,"guys, who are you talking about?"

Today, he is still with us...

and she is still smiling!

So, we breathe in, and out, and check on Franklin 50+ times a day, and swear that we will return the favor when Aunt Bran has munchkins of her own ;)

I can't believe I get to spend all my time with this girl!

Today Greg said, "she talks non-stop and I wouldn't have it any other way!" He swears she gets it from me along with this...

Well, this is how we spent our St. Patrick's Day...

Jealous?

What a difference a year makes! Last year, at the rodeo Em'ry was able to enjoy the petting zoo and the camel ride with me. Here's a flashback!

This year she tore up the entire carnival! She wasn't tall enough to ride any of the rides but she insisted on riding so I snuck her into as many as possible! We did get turned away a couple of times but found several to ride.

In October, we took Em'ry to Dewberry Farms and she wanted to ride the ponies. We waited in line for 30 min and then she chickened out. So, Greg was a little skeptical when she asked to ride the ponies yesterday. But, I insisted that we had to let her try.There were a couple of rides that Em'ry could ride as long as I tagged along. I'm glad I did because they were faster than expected and I was holding on to her!

She also begged to have her face painted and loved the end result.

Beautiful day in the neighborhood,,,

I love a clean house, crisp sheets, and a well manicured lawn. But, above all this, what really makes me happy is this...

Roadtrip!

As unbelievable as it sounds, we took a little roadtrip to Austin and FORGOT the camera! Crazy! I know! I always remember the camera. But, there was alot going on so we're lucky that we got there with the appropriate clothing.

It all started when the Lady Rams won the Regional Tournament! We follow the girls since Brandi and Corey both coach. Em'ry loves going to the games.

So, we made arrangements, loaded the car, and headed to Austin for the Friday night game. Dad, Mom, Hailie, Grandma Godino and Aunt Ang all made the trip too. The Lady Rams faced heartache after losing a close game to Georgetown. They had a great season and can hold their heads high.

We decided to stay and enjoy the weekend. Like I said, I forgot my camera but I included a couple of shots off my phone.
