Easter

We made a quick trip to Booker for Easter and it was worth the trip!
Em'ry was an angel on the plane as always. Her new headphones were a big hit and she watched Mickey's Choo-Choo Express over and over.
We spent our time relaxing and visiting. As always, the grandparents were busy spoiling their baby and Em'ry loved every second of it. She also had a blast playing with Hailie and Hailie was floored at the fact that Em'ry can say her name!
One of the highlights of the weekend was coloring eggs for the first time!
On Easter Sunday, we went to church and celebrated the true meaning of Easter!
That afternoon we squeezed in an Egg Hunt for a little fun. Em'ry had a little help getting started but now she is a pro!
The Easter Season would not be complete without enjoying a sugar-filled PEEP!

Luck O' the Irish

This one's for Gramps! His mom, my great grandmother was full blooded Irish, born on St. Patty's day, and lived to be 103 years old!

I clearly remember my Grandpa Calvin taking me to visit her many times when I was little and that has sparked an interest in me to always remember ALL of the cultures, because we all know that I'm a mutt ;), that make me and Em'ry who we are. I pray that Em'ry has a life as full and blessed as MoMo and Grandpa Calvin have had!

Spring Break!

A few weeks ago, Greg, Em'ry, and I took a mini-vacation to San Antonio/New Braunfels. It was so fun and relaxing. We didn't have any plans set in stone and ended up visiting some awesome sights that aren't included in the typical RIVER WALK experience everyone thinks of when you visit San Antonio.

We visited the Natural Bridges Safari and Em'ry loved the animals. They ate out of our hands! I wish I had pictures of the ostriches sticking their heads in our truck but I was so stressed about them being so close to Em'ry that I couldn't get any pictures.

We also visited the Natural Bridge caverns. This was more for Greg and I but Em'ry did great. The caverns were beautiful!
