This blog is created to keep family and friends updated about the life of our new addition Em'ry Dove. Although we wish we could see and spend time with every single one of you we know that is not possible so this is an attempt to fill part of that hole. Em'ry is now 8 weeks old so forgive me for just now getting around to creating her blog. I'll try to catch you up and stay current with photos and news.
Greg and I "gradually" moved from Pearland, TX to Edmond, OK between April and June of 2008. Greg is working for Chesapeake and I am a stay at home mommy. I'm loving every minute of it!
Em'ry was born on November 30, 2008, at 4:26pm. She weighed 6lbs 4oz and was 18in long. Unfortunately that was just one day after most of the family had to leave after celebrating Thanksgiving here with us. Both sets of grandparents and Jana were able to be present. We were very lucky in that the pregnancy and labor were free from complications. Praise the Lord!
We had several visitors during the first few weeks after Em'ry's birth and are very thankful for all of the support we received from our parents and friends and families. Our first major event and trip was Christmas in Booker. Or, should I say 5 Christmas' in Booker! It was a blast! The grandmothers sure enjoyed showing off their angel.
We are now just enjoying our quiet time and watching Em'ry grow. I love visitors so if you are ever in the OKC area give us a call!
